Warranty:

We guarantee our guitars for life against structural defects such as warping or falling apart that do not occur as a result of negligence, accident, customization, or tampering.  This does not cover general wear and tear due to use. Here are some examples of things that will not be covered:  
Exposing your guitar to extreme temperatures
Running over it with your car
Using non-recommended cleaning products on your guitar
Throwing your guitar out of a window
Damages sustained in any transit outside of the original (insured) shipment from us to you.
- Flights, Buses, Trains, and Tour Vans are always a risk.  Where possible, take your guitar as a carry on, or make sure it is packed appropriately in a flight case.

Always email us (via our website) in advance regarding any potential claim.  
We will review, advise, and make arrangements where required.  
We will pay for shipment of repaired or replaced products to customer and customer will be responsible for the return shipment of the product to us.  

Teran Guitars are hand made / custom items and no two are identical. You do not have the right to cancel, return or exchange your order.  Please be sure of specification suitability before purchasing.

How to clean your guitar:

We use a number of different finishes on guitar bodies and necks.  
We recommend a soft, dry microfibre cloth.  Lightly dampened is ok.  Wet is never ok.
On Nitro finishes you may use commonly found guitar polishes and detailers. 
Do not use these on Dye &/or Pigment finished guitars.
Never use any solvent based product on any finish.
Fretboards can be cleaned with fretboard specific cleaners and / or lemon oil used appropriately.

We prefer Graphtech TUSQ and BLACK TUSQ where possible.  Every nut in a Teran Guitar will be Graphtech, period.  We also love using their saddles and string trees where possible.  Their sound transferring qualities rival anything in the market and they are easy to source when replacements are necessary.  Graphtech Ratio'd Machine Heads are also incorporated where applicable.   Graphtech are another Canadian original, world leader and innovator in guitar technology, again strengthening our Hand Made in Canada authenticity.
